Life is all about how we see things. Either you can see a person who has overcome Co-Occurring Disorders or you can see someone who did not let life beat her down.
Society has a way to make you feel that because you suffer with addictions and or mental health disorders that you are not worthy to be a leader. It is important to know this…
In this journey called life, God will make you wait on purpose, not only so you will know it was His favor, but so all of your critics, friends, relatives and coworkers won’t be able to deny what God has done in your life.
So take it from a person who has been through hell and back, never give up, because your story is going to help others get through, just like you!
Remember, the strongest people are not those who show strength in front of us, but those who win battles we know nothing about.
We walk to bring awareness, education, hope and strategic solutions to the opioid/fentanyl crisis and to bring knowledge to the behavioral effects of the correlations between addictions and mental health, known together as Co-Occurring Disorders.
We walk to address the stigmas, discriminations, judgments and categorizations that, through our voice and experiences that addictions and mental health disorders affect us all.
We walk for our Children, Seniors Citizens, Youth, Adults, LGBTQ+ Veterans, Military, Homeless, Returning Citizens, and those with HIV/AIDS to know there is help, hope and treatment.
We walk to share the message and encourage those who may be suffering in silence from physical, mental, emotional and social trauma; Never Give Up! You Are Not Alone!
